For a while now, there have been rumours that Mzvee has left Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment because all attention from management has been shifted to Kuami Eugene and Kidi but this rumour was cleared by Richie.
The sudden ‘disappearance’ of Mzvee in the music scene has really thrown doubt into people’s mind as to the whereabouts and happenings of the ‘Sing My Name’ hitmaker.
According to Richie Mensah, the singer’s absence from the music industry in Ghana is due to the fact that her current state does not put her in the shape to perform professionally.
What state could she be in that is preventing her from doing music, making public appearances apart from the photos she posts on social media and with that, Ghanaians and music enthusiasts are not satisfied suggesting that they are old photos of the singer.
The ‘natural girl’ singer could be pregnant and getting married but hiding it from the public. Why are we saying this? If MzVee has not left the record label, then per Richie’s comment, the Afropop singer is definitely pregnant(we stand to be corrected though).
Some might have doubts because she has been posting on Instagram; well, take yourself back to Becca, Dr Louisa etc. They post on Instagram and in the next 4 or 5 months, they have given birth so MzVee’s situation is not a surprise to us at all.
It could be recalled that after rumours went around that she has left Lynx Entertainment, it was revealed by an insider that she is getting married because she is pregnant, a statement she later came out to deny.
Her label mate, KiDi late last year also revealed that Mzvee is on musical leave because she is “tired’ and she is having fun with her life so Ghanaians should leave her alone.
According to Kidi, there is no problem at Lynx as being peddled in rumours but Mzvee is just on leave resting in her house and she will be back soon.
“She is there, she is at home, she is chilling. You know in life sometimes you are tired, so they should leave my sister alone. She is on leave,” Kidi said in an interview with Hitz FM’s Dr Pounds.
What could save all these rumours? Well, the answer is… Mzvee should go live on her official Instagram page of honour a television interview for fans to see her current state because they’ve really missed her.
