In a letter dated 14 April 2019, SarkCess music announced it has part ways with Strongman and labeled their experience as a priceless one. They expressed their appreciation to everyone who supported Strongman in various ways.

After this announcement was made, a post on Strongman’s twitter handle suggested that Sarkodie was all these years “a bad coach” which caused fans of Sarkodie to be angry with Strongman.

In the tweet, Strongman wrote; “Most good footballers turn to be bad coaches. Don’t be deceived.”

This statement was interpreted by social media users to mean he was making reference to Sarkodie and the relationship they had and even though Strongman did not have Sarkodie’s name, the fans said Strongman was insulting the man who came to help him.

Well, they say it’s always good to hear from the horse’s own mouth and Rapper Strongman has come out to explain the motive behind his tweet.

According to Strongman, his tweet was to troll Manchester United and it was in no way directed to his mentor Sarkodie.

In an interview with Sammy Forson on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM, Thursday, he explained that Manchester United fans had been jubilating when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the mantle from Jose Mourinho but the team was not doing well as they used to when the former began coaching.

“I am a Chelsea fan so obviously I would not expect Man U to go any level above us,” he stated.

The rapper also added he and Sarkodie had no bad blood between them, “I was happy at the label. They did everything they had to for me,” he added.

Sarkodie signed Strongman to his record label, SarkCess Music in 2017 after his exploits in the reality show dubbed, the Next Big Thing in 2012.

Strongman, however, struggled to replicate his ‘class’ during the show as a professional artiste and this could be one of the reasons why they mutually went their separate ways.
