Afrobeat artiste, Mr. Eazi is extending his Empawa Africa initiative to cover other creative talents in the African entertainment industry.
Founders of the initiative have collaborated with House of Legendurybeatz to launch a competition for afro dancers dubbed the #EmpawaDaDancer.
Participants are to choose from 3 instrumentals produced by Legendurybeatz and upload Instagram videos of them dancing to the beat.
Five dancers or dance groups will get to win $10,000 each to fund their chosen dance content in partnership with Empawa.
EmpawaAfrica prides its self on being Africa’s premier platform for independent artists, growing them into global superstars.
The acts are equipped with tools, knowledge, network and investment to become independent music entrepreneurs.
J. Derobie, known for his street anthem ‘Poverty’ is a product of the initiative.
