Once upon a time Tinny was a real force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian rap industry. In the early to mid 2000s, he was the ‘big dog’ and sold more records and played more shows than almost any other rapper.
However the years have not been kind to Tinny. He has become almost irrelevant and despite all attempts to revive his career, things are not exactly going his way.
He remains a veteran in the industry though and perhaps his opinion on other good rappers matters. According to the ‘Makola Kwakwe’ hitmaker, the three worst rappers in the industry are Patapaa (no surprise), Kwaw Kese and D-Black.
In order of rank, he named Patapaa as the worst, followed by Kwaw Kese and then D-Black as the third worst rapper in Ghana.
Tinny made his views known during a recent appearance on the ‘Behind the Fame’ segment on Joy Fm.
“If you are wack, I will not listen to you,” Tinny said.
He also named the rappers he liked, including Sarkodie, Kofi Mole, Medikal and Edem.
