Controversial Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has been honoured at the 2019 Hipopo Music Awards in Uganda and this somehow rubbishes the perception out there that he is only popular in Ghana.
Shatta Wale’s “Gringo” music video which was described by some music critics as banal won the African Video of the year at the just ended Hipopo Music Awards in Uganda.
Shatta Wale celebrating the feat took to his Instagram stories and posted:
“Another International award for Shatta Wale!! @ShattaWalegh won African video of the year at the just ended Hipopo Music Awards in Uganda. #ReignAlbum is still winning”.
A big congratulations to Shatta Wale for making it happen!
