Singer Becca unveils visuals for “Magic,” her new love song. The Adey-produced record follows “Gina,” released late 2018.
“Magic” guests YCee, the latest in a seemingly never-ending streak of Nigerian collaborators that have populated her career. Signed with Zylofon Music, Becca has in the past, done duets with M.I, 2Face Idibia (2Baba), Mr. Eazi, and Ice Price Zamani.
Back in February, Becca (born Rebecca Achaempong) reportedly welcomed her first child–a daughter–with husband Tobi Sanni.
The clip for “Magic,” featuring lavish beach scenes and sunny colour, was made by Diector Abass. Thematically, the number–rendered in English, Pidgin, and Twi–documents the emotional zone of unapologetic lovers bent on creating, well, magic. The feeling of nonchalance toward detractors is reiterated in a simple hooks that sings: “e no concern them”
Becca is is author of three albums (her latest being “Unveiling”), and recipient of multiple high-profile awards in Ghana and across the continent.
