Trigmatic, the Ghanaian musician who has also worked with Accra-based Y FM as a broadcaster of many year, has announced his retirement from radio to fully concentrate on music.

“Radio’s been a huge part of my life. I’m blessed to have been able to share it with you. Today, I’m bowing out of radio to fully embrace my passion for music,” a statement on his official Facebook page begins.

“Thanks for all the support both on & off air; from you the listeners to my fellow artists, DJs, my co-presenters & employers. You’ve given me memories I’ll forever be grateful for. Let’s make this next chapter the greatest one yet. God Bless!” he concluded.

The news comes as a surprise to many of his fans and industry colleagues, seeing how masterfully he has juggled these two disciplines since the start of his career.
