“New Africa Nation,” the new album by British-Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG is due for release March 8.

His sophomore body of work, the album aims at “building the tangible reality we need: our own schools, communities, media, movies, documentaries, fashion etc., all from a self love perspective,” per the musician.

It follows T.I.N.A (This is New Africa), released in 2013, and featuring the singles “Antenna”, which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart, and “Azonto”, which peaked at number 30. Other songs off the album include the Sean Paul-assisted “Dangerous Love,” “Million Pound Girl,” “T.I.N.A” and “Angel.”

“New Africa Nation” has been led with the singles “Bra Fie,” “New African Girl” and days ago, “Outside of the Ropes.”

Back in January, Fuse ODG who is now a Grammy honoree for his contribution on Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (Asylum/ Atlantic, 2017) staged his first annual TINA Festival. “In re-uniting the Global African Diaspora, the Tina Festival will be part of a wider series of events over three days held at Ghana’s most iconic venues,” says Fuse’s team about the initiative. Consisting conferences, a tour of Akosombo, and a January 4 concert starring Sarkodie, Joey B, as well as UK-based acts, Stefflon Don and Lethal Bizzle, the festival was held under the theme “Kente Party.”

Fuse has been associated with such global music icons including Damian Marley, Wyclef Jean, Elephant Man, Sarkodie, Sean Paul, Shatta Wale, and Major Lazer.
